Students involved in the Educator Preparation Program are invited to participate in a cording ceremony. Unique to the School of Education, this is an opportunity to induct teacher candidates into the profession of education. The teacher candidates have their names read, along with their future plans, as someone important in their life places a light blue cord around their neck. All teacher candidates are invited to participate.
