Empower the next generation

Our program prepares you to make a difference by giving you the tools you need to educate today’s youth. You’ll graduate with experience, skills, and knowledge that are in high demand. With a path in K-12 and Secondary Education, you will choose a major in your specific area of interest – such as an area noted below. Then, your secondary major in education prepares you how to effectively teach your subject matter area to your future students.

Application and Graduation Requirements

If you’re interested in this program, you will do the following to enroll:

  • Choose your major in the department/college associated with what you plan to study
  • Apply to our Educator Preparation Program.  Upon acceptance and successful completion of the program, you will be recommended for an initial license and become a teacher.
