Check your Canvas Course Menu

The default Canvas Course Menu should not be kept. It provides students access to things they normally should not have direct access to and tools you will likely not use. To edit the Course Menu, click Settings (on bottom of Course Menu) then click the Navigation tab (on top of the screen). Drag unwanted items from the top table to the lower table, scroll down and click save. The exception is that you should leave the ISU AdminTools in the top menu as you need it and it won’t display to students. Leaving only these things, in this order, in the top table will generally work: Home, Announcements, Syllabus, Modules, Assignments, Grades. If you plan to use them, include Discussions and/or Quizzes on top. Be on the lookout for items that get suddenly added when ISU incorporates new software, such as StudyMate. The Course Menu can easily be changed at any time.
