Elementary education alumna Laura Lee receives award at Dan Woodin Excellence in Education awards ceremony

Laura Lee, CHS alumna who majored in elementary education, was recognized for her outstanding efforts in the classroom with the 2019 Dan Woodin Excellence in Education award on Aug. 20. Lee, a special education teacher at Mitchell Elementary School in Ames, received $1,000 along with her award.
