ISU alumna presented with 2019 Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching

Kristen Schrock (elementary education, ’11) was one of 10 chosen as a 2019 Gold Star teacher in Black Hawk County. There were 850 nominations from students, parents, community members and colleagues. Award winners represent teachers who ‘rise above everyday standards to help students achieve their fullest potential.’
