Team led by Md. Imtiajul Alam wins back-to-back Innovation Prizes in educational technology

A team led by education graduate student Md. Imtiajul Alam (pictured, holding $1500 check) won the Iowa State University Innovation Prize in the educational technology category, Nov. 8, for the second year in a row. The team proposed an app to supplement books and engage readers with audio, videos, and interactive 3D models via their cell phones. Mentored by Larysa Nadolny in the School of Education, his major professor, Alam is a student of human computer interaction, an interdepartmental graduate program.
