The Tama News-Herald and The Toledo Chronicle feature Jared Smith as new superintendent of South Tama school district: The Tama News-Herald and The Toledo Chronicle on April 12 featured Jared Smith as the new superintendent of the South Tama Community School District. He was selected from a pool of 18 applicants. Smith received his doctorate in education from Iowa State in 2017. He currently serves as the principal of Muscatine High School.
