Program Overview  

Fast-track your career as a secondary school teacher. This program is designed for aspiring educators who want to teach Business, English, or Social Studies at the middle and high school levels (grades 5-12). you must include a statement on your Statement of Purpose outlining which endorsement you want to obtain.

Our streamlined curriculum provides an efficient pathway to earn both a Master’s degree and your state teaching endorsement simultaneously. Begin your teaching career with the advanced credentials and expertise to make an immediate impact in the classroom.

Eligiblity

To apply for this program, you must meet the following criteria:

1.    You are seeking an initial teaching endorsement in Iowa. This program is not for current teachers who already hold a secondary endorsement and wish to add a new subject area.

2.    You have substantially completed the required content courses for your desired endorsement.
