Educational Technology Emphasis, M.Ed./M.S.

The School of Education and Division of Teaching, Learning, Leadership, and Policy offer an M.Ed. and M.S. in Education with an emphasis in educational technology. The M.Ed. is a 30-credit degree designed to support the professional practice of in-service teachers. The M.S. is a 30-credit degree designed for students who want to develop skills as educational researchers.

Faculty expertise includes emerging technologies and social media, game-based learning, immersive technology, integration of technology in teacher practice, teacher education, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Educational technology (EdTech) faculty often collaborate in grant-funded research with colleagues in the SOE, across campus (e.g. in Colleges of Design and Engineering), and nationally and internationally. Some faculty are also affiliated with ISUs interdisciplinary graduate program in Human Computer Interaction.
