The Ph.D. prepares students to pursue faculty positions in colleges and universities and positions as educational researchers and instructional designers in a variety of public institutions and private organizations, industry, and the nonprofit sector. Some graduates who have extensive P-12 classroom experience work in school, district and state educational technology positions.

Alumni from the M.S and M.Ed in Education programs have had a number of career opportunities for leadership and/or technology positions in the P-12 at local and district level, and in higher education environments.
